The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

ok but nothing special
I would say it makes my skin feel clean and fresh. It does the job well but i found that i got a small breakout of spots. I think its nice but didnt see any real difference or feel difference in my skin. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clear and defend+ face wash

Decent product
Similar consistency to other brands I use such as Cerave, doesn't have an overwhelming smell either. I would need to use for longer to see if it helped to clear my skin. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clears up breackouts quickly
Just one wash helped to dry up a breakout. Long term it makes me skin a little dry but it's great for times when my skin isn't looking at it best. Heads up - it has a odd texture, almost like a gel when it comes out. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clearer blemish free skin
I got this product for free from Homes tester club and I can’t thank them for sending me this. This face wash does wonders. Just in 7 days of the use I could feel the spots disappearing and after few weeks, all my blemish spots has gone and my skin looks my clearer and healthier after it’s continuous use. Love it!
I’ve been using this product every day for the past couple of weeks and have really seen the difference it has made to my skin. I’m prone to the odd break out, especially on my forehead and since using it I haven’t had any. Effective and cleanses well
