The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Clean & Clear
I have really enjoyed using this product. It has helped my acne prone skin not only in reducing the acne I get but also brightening the skin with continued use from the acne scars I had. Ok product, not great

Clearer skin

Clear skin

Unclogs pores
I really like this product, it's rare I find a face wash that visibly reduces the appearance of my pores but with this it was obvious from one wash. The (large) pores on my nose looked like they had been completely unclogged and remained so all day, so with regular (twice daily) face washing I can safely say that this wash will keep my skin looking clean and clear #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Smoothing and clearing
The first time I used this it felt tingly on my face. I didn't mind but indicates it may not be suitable for all skin. After the first use it felt fine to use daily. It was pleasant to use without a scent and slightly foaming mixed with water. I think the exfoliating properties helped make my skin smoother and brighter over the few weeks of use. I had no breakouts whilst using this product so I think it helps unclog pores. I would continue to use this daily or every couple of days, and recommend to others #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great facial wash
