The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Nice cleanser

This wash definitely left my skin feeling clean and renewed. I did notice within a week or so that my scars did appear smaller and less noticeable. I did have to take a break from using it as my skin felt a bit sensitive, but my skin felt tighter after every use which made me feel like it was working! Will work for the right people
I feel this product would do wonders for people that have incredibly oily/acne prone skin. I found this face wash incredibly drying and hard to use for 4 weeks, I did but it has caused flaking on my usually oily nose. I tried the Neutrogena Clear & Defend+ Facial Wash, and while it's a decent product, it didn't completely exceed my expectations. Cleansing, gentle face wash
When I started using this I had a weird breakout along my lip line that took a week to clear up (I have never had this before, I don’t know if it was the product or just a freak coincidence). But after two weeks of using I was okay. My skin has always been pretty clear until I hit my 30s, I think this has slightly cleared up my skin but not made enough of a difference to go out of my way to buy again. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great for spot prone skin
Great for spot prone skin, as it contains salicylic acid and glycolic acid and is fragrance free. Made my skin feel for radiant and reduced my breakouts. Brilliant Product
This face wash does exactly what it says it will. I suffer with hormonal breakouts on my chin and I have used this product twice a week and my complexion has completely changed.
