The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Face Wash
I am still unsure on this product as my skin has been very dry recently and I am not sure if it is caused by the weather or from using this. It is a nice formula and foams up when using. Leaves me feeling fresh but like I say I have had dry skin since using so unsure on this overall. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

The product helped to clear my skin from spots and marks from older spots as well. It didn’t dry my skin after 2 weeks of using it morning and evening. I used it after removing my make up, and then later used my regular moisturiser. I will definitely be using it again. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good daily cleanser
Good daily cleanser but doesn’t feel like it’s cleaning deep into my pores but do feel like I’ve got fresh skin after too. . I do suffer from pimples, and haven’t seen any improvement but I do really struggle with finding any products to help with this #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good face wash
I liked the product, it goes a long way, only need to a small amount to apply. Some days my skin did feel abit too sensitive and got alittle red because of it. All in all I felt the product did what it saids. Skins clearer. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good general face wash
After using it I noticed that it was slightly drying (I have combination skin) so would probably be good for oily skin. However it has reduced my breakouts. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Does what it says
This has left my skin feeling very clean and when continously using I have noticed that my combination skin is looking clearer with minimal tight feeling. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because it stung when my skin was slightly cracked from a cold so don't think it would work for sensitive skin. Clear skin, clear mind
So I was a bit reticent about trying a new cleanser - I'm used to the curel system - but hey, it was free. Turns out, worth it - it's been drawing out underlying blemishes and getting rid of them super quick- my face feels especially clean when I use the product with a silicon buffer. My skin is looking brighter and clearer after only using it for two weeks. One drawback, it is a little drying, but if you're using it as a first step cleanser and following up with another cleanser that's more moisturising (and if you're like me, an intensive moisturiser after serums), you should be golden. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
