The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

No more breakouts!
I’m prone to breakouts and this product reduced them for me. Not completely gone but good enough for me to feel more confident. It works and I recommend this! I don’t have pigmentation marks so can’t say if it works for that. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Decent Face Wash
Great face wash, makes my skin feel clean and works great at keeping blemishes away. Doesn’t dry out skin which I have found with some blemish targeting skin care products in the past. I found that it spreads well but doesn’t lather very much. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good but drying
My skin is noticeably clearer, especially the blackheads on my nose however, it has given me dry skin which I have never had in my life no matter what moisturiser, or how often I moisturise the skin on my chin and around my nose is peeling, and wearing foundation now looks awful. I’m only using the product in the evening, so for me it’s too strong. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Amazing

Good facial wash

Clean and clear skin!
Really nice product that left my skin feeling clean and clear, I could feel the product working as I was using it. My skin felt a little tight after the first couple of usages but it soon got used to it. Cleansing but drying
I found my initial first few days using this product to be a large success. My skin felt much cleaner and the appearance of my skin was bright and I saw a large reduction in blemishes however within a week my skin was exceptionally dry, sensitive and sore. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

I like it
I like this cleanser and have noticed that my skin is clearer and brighter since using it. Not quite 5 stars as I found it very drying so I have to use a good quality moisturiser immediately after. Despite that, I would buy again. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
