The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Very good and removes makeup’
I use this product as part of my double cleanse. I tend to use it first as it removes makeup very well! I cleanse for about 60 seconds and then use another. I like the feeling of this cleanser and also it’s not really scented which is always a bonus. It would be a little more hydrating but that’s not really an issue. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clean and refreshing
The product comes in a transparent bottle with clean and neat packaging. I liked that it comes with a pump to squueze right amount of liquid. It contains Salicylic acid which helps prevents breakouts. Also helps prevent spots and acne marks. I could see a good difference in my skin after using it for few weeks. Definitely recommend.

Great cleanser
I've been using this gel cleanser for almost 2 weeks and it's brilliant at cleansing my skin and removing all impurities and excess sebum from my skin. It emotes make-up well too. My skin doesn't feel dry or tight after using it and little goes a long way . My skin looks clearer than before and blemishes are less visible. It doesn't have any scent which I like .Overall a good product that I'll continue using and recommend.

Nice basic cleanser
Nice basic cleanser to use on acne-prone skin. Lathers well, cleans off excess makeup (I used as second cleanse of double cleanse). Felt a little bit stripping for my skin, but good for days when spots are present! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
