The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Good texture but not clearer skin
The texture is lovely, but I do not notice any changes in my skin. It certainly cleans the skin, but if you have have bad skin, then it won’t make a massive difference. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Amazing

Good cleanser

Cleaning but a bit irritating

Cleared skin but felt dry
With adult acne I have tried quite a few products that can cleanse my skin but not cause more redness. This product worked really well by drying out the spots however my face did feel dry after using the wash twice a day so only used it in the evening before adding moisturiser.

Awful
I don’t have sensitive skin but this made my skin so dehydrated and ruined my skin barrier. I’m used to using strong acids and treatments and never have issues. Had to stop using and took over a week for me to repair my skin barrier #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Really Good Cleanser
