The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Non drying
I found this wash none drying on the face which most cleansers dry out my skin, the smell was pleasant and the consistency was great would buy again and find you don’t have to use a lot so will last a while #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great results
I really enjoyed using this product. It lathers up nicely on the skin and even after the first use my skin felt so much cleaner. Great product
nice size bottle, nice packaging. smell is good and not overpowering. foams up well and feels good on the skin. after washing off my face feels nice and soft. noticed a big improvement with the current spots i had and noticed it kept them either at bay or they didn't last long. would defiantly add this to my skin care routine #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Better for more oily skin
This product is ok. It foams up a little and does the job. It doesn’t have a smell which isn’t my preference. Also, I found the product a little drying. Might be better for very oily skin types. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good, but../.
The face wash is nice and thick in consistency, which turns into lively foam. Personally, I don’t like fragrance free option but it is not the end of the world. After using it for over two weeks, every day, I am not 100% sure that it does help with spots. It definitely regulates sebum and my face wasn’t as oily as usual. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Just OK
I found this product just OK, it didn't foam up very much when rubbed in the hands or on the face. It cleaned my skin well but it did feel a little dry after and I have combination skin. Not really much of a scent which was fine. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Neutrogena clear and defend face wash
I used this product each morning before applying moisturiser. I felt that the product was good at cleaning my skin and removing any impurities from the night, however I did find it a little harsh on my skin. I noticed over time by skin was becoming quite dry. Overall happy with this product but wouldn’t recommend to anyone with dry skin. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
