Developed for oily and blemish-prone skin types, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ seeks to clarify and hydrate for up to 24 hours while providing visible results in just eight hours. The dual-action daily gel helps to minimise the appearance of imperfections, dark spots and discolouration, alongside diminishing the look of excess sebum for a more mattified finish.
Fortified with salicylic and lipo-hydroxy acids, the moisturiser provides a gentle micro-exfoliation, helping to decongest pores and promote smoother-looking skin. The formula is supported by niacinamide and zinc PCA, lending brightening and hydrating benefits, alongside encouraging a unified tone and texture. Mannose locks in moisture to help encourage a visibly smoother surface. An advanced phylobioma active ingredient tops the composition to protect from excess sebum and future breakouts, balancing the complexion and layering well with makeup to leave the skin feeling purified and nourished.

Best for acne prone skin or blemishes
Love this product go clearer skin. Works best with the clarifying lotion for greater effect. Only use sparingly as can be slightly drying but fine as under makeup or moisturiser. I would buy again.

My fave face moisturiser
I've tried so many face moisturisers but this is my favourite one. I don't have really problematic skin but I used to have 1 or 2 spots constantly. This along with face wash has eradicated that completely. On rare occasion I get a spot (usually because routine slipped a bit) they don't flare up as badly and go down quickly. Would recommend to everyone.

Great base moisturiser
I bought this moisturiser after hearing about it through a friend and online and it has definitely helped calmed my skin down. I was getting really red spots and dark marks on my cheeks and jawline and after using this for a week the redness has almost completely gone. I still have a few marks but the lighter ones are started to fade a bit. As I have combination skin, it can sometimes add to the dryness of it so I use it as a base moisturiser and put another on top to avoid my skin flaking.
