In my opinion one of the best fake tans around in the “affordable” section. I’ll always be a huge fan of the original St Tropez but cost of living and all that jazz, paying for St Tropez is getting to be a bit of a luxury! So this for me is second best but a very close second! Love the smell of it. Love the packaging, love the colour it leaves me with, streak free, no dryness, easy application, an all round affordable and decent fake tan.

Thought the over hype was just a herd mentality thing but my gosh it isn’t. I am fair. Got the medium shade like I do with all other brands I’ve tried (( fake bake, st moriz, loving tan, st tropez , vita , skinny tan, bali Body ,bondi sands, you’d name it. Isle of paradise oil mist is the closest I’ve ever gotten to loving a tan, but only recently, but mousse wise I have never found the right one. you’d think I’m always tanned but no, they are all just sitting in my cupboard. I would use them a few times and just not like it and go months without fake tanning until I try another brand only to do the same song and dance of not really likening them and having a break again)) I have wasted sooo much money and time because I just resisted the the advertising for coco and eve , like I’ve used other expensive brands before so why trust this one too? But some girl I’ve worked with for a couple years said the other day “I need to go and fake than before I..” and I was floored, never knew or realised. Thought she was just naturally this sun kissed olive toned blonde goddess. Said she uses coco and eve since I’ve known her. So I gave my fake tan journey another go. It went on a very light colour, as in not crazy dark like all other “medium” shades, so when I say lighter I mean like natural bronze colour that i can actually leave the house which I’ve never done before because freshly fakes tanned looks ridiculous. When I showered it off after ten hours the guide colour was very light and not like all other bands where the water runs muddy for ages. basically, the colour I had at application is the colour I was left with. That’s not even a perk it’s just an observation I made that I haven’t experienced before with other brands. The perks are, the smell is amazing, and I didn’t even smell any fake tan scent after shower like others have mentioned, the colour is 10/10, application like silk. The head engineer where I work is the typical kinda person who’s like “fake tans gross” was mind blown guys, he said he thought I went on holiday on my days off and thought it was a joke when I said it’s fake tan (tues-Thursday, no way even the sun would give me this glow in such a short amount of time hah) Basically, it’s worth the extra cost, for application ease, quality and result. You might be disappointed with the medium shade if you want “instagram bronze” but just get the darker shades. I will get the dark shade in future, as it says it develops in two hours, I can imagine the dark kept on for 3 hours would give me the medium shade results I love, and if I want I can go darker. I’m fair with neutral undertones, Icy blue eyes and light chestnut brown hair, and medium is perfect for all year round.
