I wanted to love this as I’d spent money on it and YSL is such a stunning brand but I have to be honest: there are better primers out there. My skin felt slippy after using this… the texture was unusual and I found it hard to apply make-up on top without it all caking. I prefer a lighter, dewy, more moisturising primer - the Charlotte Tilbury ones are excellent. There are lots of great reviews from other happy shoppers for this one so I think my experience is purely down to my skin not getting on with this product!

Massive bottle that lasts for a long time. This product leaves a silicone-like matte texture on the skin whilst also leaving a slight shimmer. Best for use with not too high a coverage foundation to let that come through. Elegant packaging but difficult to get the last bits of product out when you’re down to 10% left.
