Smooths and holds make up in place
Having recently discovered the Nyx marshmellow primer, I was really happy with it & was reluctant to pay more than double for the Touche eclat primer but decided to splash out as I’d read good reviews. I didn’t expect to be blown away but I have to say that it’s far exceeded my expectations. I wear it under my foundation and I’ve never used a primer that gives such a smooth base before. I have some texture on my skin and this really improves that, almost eradicates it. The other great and surprising thing is how well it grips my make up - even after a full day of work, an hour of vigorous exercise and a couple of hours of housework, my foundation pretty much looked the same as it did when I applied it. This is a luxury brand, so the price tag won’t suit everyone but if you can afford it, it’s well worth the extra.
