The thick, yet creamy, formula offers extreme volume with up to 24-hour wear, combining hyper-black pigments and smudge-resistant boosters for long-lasting drama and definition.
Featuring a patent-pending double conical brush, the volumising mascara coats lashes with high-impact, buildable colour, layer after layer. Iris florentina extract infuses the formula, helping to condition lashes with every coat. Designed to create intense volume, lift and curl in just five strokes, Lash Clash is your secret weapon for high-impact lashes.
Step 1: Sweep - Start applying the mascara at the root of the lash and sweep the wand upwards, separating lashes with the double conical brush.
Step 2: Lift- Apply the 2nd swipe by holding the mascara at the root of the lashes, wiggle the mascara brush and lift to lash tip.
Step 3: Zig-Zag Up - For the 3rd coat, apply to lash and zig-zag upwards ensuring the full lash is coated.
Step 4: Zig-Zag Down - Apply on top of the lash and sweep the mascara wand upwards for massive impact
Step 5: Flick - Apply the brush to the lash for the 5th coat, flick the brush through the lashes to separate each lash. On the inner & bottom lashes, use just the tip of the brush and apply to individual lashes.

I like how big the brush is but it can sometimes pick up too much product. Meaning its harder to apply causing lashes to stick together. I have also found that after wearing for a few hours it can be very dry and start to flake.

Okay...
Fancy, seemingly big tube. HUGE bristle brush. Product loads onto brush, I find too much to create a nice lash separation, so I remove some back into the tube. Product is very dry and quick drying. It does coat lashes well and creates volume but any more than one coat clumps lashes. I found this mascara doesn't budge all day, I have oily lids and suffer with transfer but don't with this. I have also found a lot of the product has dried around the inside rim of the tube which isn't ideal. Easily removed with oil cleanser of micellar water (just hold over eyes for 20secs, then wipe gently). Wouldn't go out of my way to buy again.

Love this mascara
Great mascara, I like the formula and goes on great without clumping. Lashes are long and dramatic. Takes a bit more scrubbing to get it off but it stays put really well.

Smudges onto skin
Makes your lashes so nice when applying it. Buildable keeps the volume rather than clumping them together. However, after the first hour or two and then for the rest of the day it’s leaking / smudging onto the skin under my eyes and under my eyebrows. So disappointing as I know cheaper brands do this but wouldn’t have thought it with Ysl.
