I probably can't vouch for its heat protecting abilities with total confidence, since I would have to compare the condition of my hair for months (and even then, there are so many other factors to consider). However, this gives me a peace of mind, as well as a surprising amount of hold. Curling my hair after spritzing this helps keep my fine hair in place throughout the day. My curls would usually loosen quite quickly, but using this spray has helped tremendously in styling. The mist isn't as fine as I'd like though, and sometimes parts of my hair feel tacky due to how much product is deposited. Still, this spray has changed my hair game for sure!
