Formulated to provide mild exfoliation, the Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Superficial Peeling Formulation from The Ordinary promotes a smoother, more evenly-toned complexion.
The serum is fortified lactic acid, an exfoliating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), to help improve the appearance of pigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture. The addition of a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative helps to soothe sensitive skin, while hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture.
Contraindications: Lactic Acid should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions.
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)

There has not been a product from this brand that I haven’t loved! I use this at night and in the morning my skin is clear, radiant and fresh. I use many of the ordinary products and haven’t got a bad word to say about any of them. They beat every high end, high priced brand that I’ve tried and my skin couldn’t live without them! Only downside is they sell out often, stock up while you can you won’t regret it!

I’ve been using this now for 4 weeks and I have seen a huge improvement in my scarring and overall appearance of my skin. It’s helped to control my spots and my skin looks overall clearer. The only thing this hasn’t helped me with is my blackheads which I’m still yet to find a product that works towards that. But I will continue to use it as my skin looks so much better.
