The Ordinary's AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is a potent formula that acts as a ten-minute exfoliating facial, helping to brighten, smooth and refine the appearance of skin.
The advanced exfoliant features a blend of 30% alpha hydroxyl acids (glycolic, lactic, tartaric and citric), as well as 2% beta hydroxyl salicylic acid. Helping to slough away dead skin cells, the powerhouse formula minimises the look of dullness, pore congestion and textural irregularities. Hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, and Tasmanian pepperberry promote rich antioxidant benefits, while nourishing the skin with a soothing, comfortable finish. Topped off with radiance-enhancing black carrot extract, the illuminating mask promotes the look of revitalised, glowing skin.
Suitable for most skin types but not recommended for very sensitive or compromised skin. Always patch test before use.

I don't use this regularly - maybe every other month but it always works really well when I do. I think I learnt that I needed to use a good skin barrier moisturiser when using products like this regularly as it can lead to oversensitivity. Don't leave it on for too long (follow what it says on the box) and it can really help to clear pores and improve texture. It can sting in sensitive areas.

So I am very obsessed with peels and very fortunate that my skin can tolerate peels well. It is a strong peel but I always use the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel first then straight after use this peel for 10 mins. Skin feels amazing! The product does leave a slight ‘something’ on the skin but with toner which I always use, it disappears. It’s important to use a really good hydrating serum afterwards.

I use this once every couple weeks and it’s significantly lightened my dark marks. Before prepping my skin correctly I learnt the hard way that it is pretty harsh so avoid actives like vitamin C and retinol for a day or two, slather yourself up in skin loving ceramides and it will be transformative.

Great peel!
I did a lot of research before using this peel! I really like it but I recommend you use a thin layer on your face and maybe only once a week at the start to build a tolerance. I wouldn't leave it on for the full 10 mins at first either. I followed with a hydrating serum and a generous amount of moisturizer. I wouldn't use it in the daytime as it leaves your skin vulnerable and even if you use it at night I suggest spf the next day.
