The ceramides make my skin feel significantly smoother and maybe even "plumper", it also helps with my skin barrier whenever I struggle with that. It has such a good consistency and feel, not too greasy, sticky or squeaky. When applied, it doesn't look overly dewy, but it doesn't disappear to look like nothing on your skin, it's just perfect.
