Love this little pot of comfort. Moisturising but not greasy. Have a pot in car, in bag and by side of the bed. Does have a grainy texture which I don’t mind and actually think helps the product last longer but may not be ideal for someone sensible to texture.

Not a patch on the old formula
The service from Look Fantastic was great as always. Sadly, Nuxe have changed the formula of this in 2023 and the new formula isn’t a patch on the original. I’ve been using this for 15+ years and am now having to try loads of other brands to find one that’s as hydrating as the original formula.

Changed the formula and it's awful
Ugh. This used to be my go to lip balm but they changed the formula. Chapsticks and most other lip balms have alcohol in them, so they dry out your lips, forcing you to apply more so you use more product and end up in a cycle where you have to use chapstick/balm to moisturise your lips as they dry them out. This left my lips soft and flake free as a night treatment, and in the coldest of winters I rarely needed to reapply. Now it’s like every other lip balm. The texture is smoother, and it feels nicer, but it doesn’t last as long, it’s not as moisturising, and you end up reapplying constantly.

The packaging is quality for this product, which is always a good start. I only need a tiny dab of balm on my lips and it keeps my lips soft all day. Also, I noticed that it doesn’t all wear off as soon as I have a drink. It has a pleasant, subtle smell. I will definitely wear this every day in the colder weather.

GAME CHANGER!!!
I have incredibly dry lips as a result of taking Roacutane for acne as a teenager. This lip balm is incredible. Instead of reapplying every hour at least I now only need reapply after eating or drinking. My lips feel soft and hydrated for the first time in over 20 years!
