A plant-based alternative to retinol, the Medik8 Bakuchiol Peptides is a gentle yet effective formula that firms the look of fine lines and plumps the skin with moisture.
Fortified with 1.25% bakuchiol, the serum is suitable for those who are unable to tolerate retinol or have extra sensitive skin, while still gaining the same smoothing benefits. Brightening peptide precursors protect from dark spots and discolouration, supporting a more even-looking tone, as a blend of Inka omega oil and centella asiatica visibly soothe and soften. Ideal for day and night use, apply after cleansing to reveal noticeably supple, radiant skin.

Not for me
A very expensive mistake - was looking for a bakuchiol product I could use morning and evening under my moisturiser - I have ageing, combination skin and this serum ticks all the boxes on paper - but oh my goodness it's so oily feeling! It never seems to sink in no matter how long I massage it or how little I use. I've given it a good go (2 weeks on and off) but it just sits on top of my skin and makes me feel grubby - its such an unpleasant feeling that I can't wait any longer to see any benefits (not seen anything so far) - really kicking myself for this one.
