I like to try out mascaras, in the hope that I find the perfect one. It's a fruitless exercise as none are ever better than this Lancome mascara, which I return to time and time again. It's the perfect consistency, can be natural or dramatic, never flakes and holds it colour well.

After so many 5* reviews I was expecting much better. This mascara seriously does nothing other than coat your lashes in a black paint. The consistency feels dry somehow, as if it's going to be completely dried out very soon and unusable. It doesn't lengthen or give volume to my lashes. I found it such a huge waste of money. I'll be going back to L'Oréal Telescopic (gold tube) which performs so much better for half the price in my opinion.
