The La Roche-Posay Effaclar MAT 40ml is a mattifying daily moisturiser designed for oily skin types. Expertly formulated to help minimise the appearance of shine and visible pores, the lightweight serum provides hydration for up to 8 hours to support a visibly balanced complexion.
Enriched with sebulyse, known for its sebum-regulating properties, and absorbent micro-powders, the formula helps to control excess oil and visibly refine the look of textural irregularities. Dermatologist recommended and suitable for daily use, skin is left feeling softer and more even, with a fresh, matte finish throughout the day.
- Application: Apply morning and/or evening on the whole face. Avoid eye contour. Can be used as a makeup base.

It’s a non - greasy moisturiser which is great as I have oily skin, I haven’t noticed pores tighten or less acne (I’ve been using for about a week) though I mainly got it to keep my skin matte anyway

Suffer with an oily T zone so had high hopes for this product. I like the mattifying effect on the skin after application. It provides a nice base for makeup. Can’t say I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my oily T zone but it’s no worse so will continue to use this product for now.
