Developed for oily and blemish-prone skin types, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ seeks to clarify and hydrate for up to 24 hours while providing visible results in just eight hours. The dual-action daily gel helps to minimise the appearance of imperfections, dark spots and discolouration, alongside diminishing the look of excess sebum for a more mattified finish.
Fortified with salicylic and lipo-hydroxy acids, the moisturiser provides a gentle micro-exfoliation, helping to decongest pores and promote smoother-looking skin. The formula is supported by niacinamide and zinc PCA, lending brightening and hydrating benefits, alongside encouraging a unified tone and texture. Mannose locks in moisture to help encourage a visibly smoother surface. An advanced phylobioma active ingredient tops the composition to protect from excess sebum and future breakouts, balancing the complexion and layering well with makeup to leave the skin feeling purified and nourished.

I have sensitive/slightly oily skin tone so I find it quite hard to find a moisturiser that works for me well. I don't suffer with bad acne, but occasional have small breakouts, so I bought this to try and reduce acne marks. So far, so good! I think the product is really lightweight and hasn't caused me to breakout. I will be repurchasing.

Really impressed with this. Good consistency and it really reduces redness and spots. I'm not wearing face makeup at the moment being in lockdown so it's nice on its own but imagine it to be a little greasy under foundation? I have combination skin but not sure I'd use it if my skin were oily. Also a bit of a shame there's perfume in it but thankfully it's not irritating to me. Just something to keep in mind if that bothers you.

I have been using this product for about 3 weeks and have definitely seen a reduction in any pimples I’ve had. I am still getting the odd few but not as big as before.
