Developed for oily and blemish-prone skin types, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ seeks to clarify and hydrate for up to 24 hours while providing visible results in just eight hours. The dual-action daily gel helps to minimise the appearance of imperfections, dark spots and discolouration, alongside diminishing the look of excess sebum for a more mattified finish.
Fortified with salicylic and lipo-hydroxy acids, the moisturiser provides a gentle micro-exfoliation, helping to decongest pores and promote smoother-looking skin. The formula is supported by niacinamide and zinc PCA, lending brightening and hydrating benefits, alongside encouraging a unified tone and texture. Mannose locks in moisture to help encourage a visibly smoother surface. An advanced phylobioma active ingredient tops the composition to protect from excess sebum and future breakouts, balancing the complexion and layering well with makeup to leave the skin feeling purified and nourished.

Highly Effective
I had a persistent breakout that was lingering for weeks, partly stress related. After using this for a week even the most inflamed spots are almost completely healed, most improvements were after 4 days. I have very oily skin, slightly sensitive and prone to dryness if I try mattifying products. I was nervous to change moisturiser but trusted La Roche-Possay given their Hyalu B5 serum works wonders for me.

I've been using this now for 4 weeks and my skin is definitely starting to improve. I did initially purge, but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did as the results are starting to show now. White heads have dramatically reduced and my skin is brighter. Hopefully it will continue to improve!

This product had really improved my skin texture after a very short amount of time, and it even seems to have improved some deep set Wrinkles that were appearing. My skin is tighter and firmer and it does not cause breakouts (Which I am prone to). I have tried a similar product in the range (anti-sebum), however this one seems to work better with my skin. I use this in place of my moisturiser and my skin has never been better. For context, I am 35 years old with combination skin, prone to hormonal breakouts.
