Designed for oily scalps prone to dandruff, the Kérastase Symbiose Purifying Anti-Dandruff Cellular Shampoo helps to cleanse and clarify the hair and scalp.
The breathable foaming formula uses salicylic acid and piroctone olamine, which gently exfoliate to lift away dead skin cells, flakes and oil build-up. Ideal for even sensitive scalps, the shampoo leaves your scalp feeling soothed and balanced.

Not as good as the old version
I had been using the old version of this shampoo very happily for years, now they’ve changed it I’ve found myself looking to replace it. It works on the scalp for sure but drys out my hair and leaves it much more unmanageable, it also doesn’t feel clean even after using it twice. This is definitely a cumulative effect as I’m halfway through my first bottle, I stupidly bought two when on offer, and it’s so bad there’s no way I’ll be using it even once more.

Almost perfect
Bought this as it was the closest match to the Keratase Specifique bain anti-pelliculaire which was perfect for my hair. I think they've discontinued it and replaced it with this one instead. If I'd known, I'd have stocked up. This shampoo does clear my scalp but I've found it a little drying on the rest of my hair. It's missing the creamy formula of the Specifique one. I don't condition my hair as it weighs it down so don't want to have to start now. May have to try the version for dry scalp and see if it makes a difference. It's difficult because they are so pricey, you don't want to end up buying something you later regret. Strongly recommend only buying when there's a discount on.

Omg! Best one ever!!!!! No dandruff, therefore less oily hair, I wash my hair every 3 days, this shampoo is amazing!!! Results in just 1 use! The only thing is that it doesn’t foam much but I guess it’s because is mostly for the scalp, which is the root of the problem, so because it is pricey, and you wanna make it last the longest possible, I wash my hair first with H&S, to clean mostly the hair, I have a lot of hair and thick, and then for the second wash I use this amazing shampoo focusing on the scalp, and last I use the conditioner, absolutely love this Symbiose line!
