This mask is a classic for a reason. If you want a general hair mask that will soften and hydrate this is the one you want. It nourishes my ends and leaves them softer and less dry. You only need a little. It is expensive but worth it. It lasts a long time and smells great. Don't expect absolute miracles but you will see an improvement.
