It’s okay
Well I had high hopes as it was recommended by my hairdresser but I’m still on the hunt for a product that helps my curls and have hold without being crunchy. This product might be better for someone who has well defined curls. Mine need a bit of help and this product just doesn’t do it. Also I’m not fussed about the scent. It reminds me of granny’s perfume.

Doesn't reduce fizz and didn't make my hair curl up and I have naturally curly hair. This product is quite expensive and doesn't do much. Consistence of the product is very kind of watery, I've tried better and cheaper. I'm going to return it back

Curly or not?
I have used this product a few times now and I am not sure how I feel about it. I think it really depends on your hair type. When using it I can certainly feel my hair is curly, uut the curls do not last more than a day or 2. Also I dont see any reduction or less frizz.

holds curls beautifully
i think this product is my favourite gel I've ever used. my hair doesn't feel crunchy after using it and holds my curls in a beautiful, natural way. most gels I've tried feel too heavy on my hair, but the Kérastase Curl Manifesto Gelée Curl Contour Gel-Cream is perfect.

Lovely product
This is a really nice product. Smells soft and gives me some curls. My fair is usually a frizzy mess but this helps a lot, I have natural looking lose curls after using it. The best thing I like is that there is NO crunchy or hard feeling at all, my hair dries into naturally soft, shiny somewhat curly form. And it doesn’t weigh my very fine hair at all. I will try it with the gold K oil next time as a combo.

Not for me
I was full of hopes for this product as my hair stylist uses Kerastase's 'lait de soie' which smells nice and does the job of holding curls (but is out of stock at the mo). This has a pungent, powdery, cheap smelling perfume, and made my hair 'bouffant' rather than curly. So not for me, unfortunately.

Didn't do what I wanted it to do
I've always been a fan of Kerastase products so I thought I would spend a bit more money on this hair product. I struggle with frizzy curls that no products seem to tame. Unfortunately this one was no different. I put it on damp hair as directed and as my hair dried I saw the usual frizziness start to appear. I thought OK, lets put some on dry hair. I worked small amounts on individual curls... Pros- it's light weight and not at all sticky. It also made my hair a bit curlier then it usually is-some tighter curls. So it may be suitable for other hair types just not mine.

Having put down the straighteners after 20 years(!) I decided that I should let my curly wavy hair be natural at last. I started by following the Curly Girl Method, however, gel alone did not work well for me and mousse and gel mixed gave me great hold and great curls but my hair felt dry and stiff and looked dull. I decided to try this new product from Kerastase. I have used their Resistance Thermique cream for years to straighten and protect my hair and it’s a wonderful product. This curl gel-cream has an amazing smell. It also leaves my hair soft and natural feeling. It enhances my curl pattern and my hair looks shinier and healthier since using it. It doesn’t have the hold of gel or mousse but I prefer that. My hair is soft and has defined waves/curls. I can dampen my hair each day between washes and add some more product to revitalise my curls/waves. The Kerastase website states use 2 to 4 pumps. I must admit I need more than that when styling my hair after washing but between washes I use about that amount. My hair is shoulder length and very fine and it doesn’t weigh it down. Overall, a great product. As with all curly girls hair journey, it takes trial and error to find a product that works. I think I’ve found mine!
