Im a longstanding Double Wear addict for it's staying power - but I wanted to try this. Its a has a lovely texture and glides on beautifully. A slightly lighter but more radiant finish than double wear - good for day to day use. On some days i mix it with double wear for a medium finish. Buildable finish and moisturising. Recommend giving it a go!

Definitely doesn’t disappoint
I’ve always been a fan of EL double wear light and had read some great reviews about this foundation. It took me quite a while to settle on the right shade (I can’t count how many times I got this wrong for online purchases) but thankfully I got it spot on. I chose 2C3 Fresco. I have fair/light skin and shades are often too yellow or even too pink. This one is just right. It applies very easily with a sponge blender and gives light coverage. It holds perfectly during the day.

Good for mature skin
My skin in mature, oily, enlarged pores. I find this foundation great for my skin. It works both with and without primer but I have found a few tricks for longevity. I tend to mix 2 pumps futurist wiht with 1 pump of eldw (I find double wear is the best colour match foundation ever, but it tends to go into my lines around my mouth, ageing me, and gets incredibly oily in my t-zone). This combination with BM mineral veil to set and urban decay all nighter setting spray on top give a flawless finish that lasts all day. The reason I have given it 4 stars as it has a limited range of shades, my usual shade of DW is not available so it has taken me 3 attempts to get it right. Alone it has a very dewy finish that doesn't set down and stays for around 6 hours, mixed with ELDW it last for 10 hours plus and gives a nice glow (enough for oily skin). For reference I am 3c3 in ELDW and my best match is 3N1 in futurist (my shade should have been pebble based on recommendations but I found this was far too cool.
