I use this as part of my daily routine, to remove makeup and oily grime, before I use the Clinique Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser to cleanse impurities and pollution from my skin. This balm instantly turns to oil as you apply it to skin, and to a milky cleanser once you apply water. Once rinsed, there is no residue, and skin feels cleansed and hydrated, without feeling clogged or greasy, despite being oily. My skin is very temperamental, having suffered with moderate acne in the past. I have combination skin, which can get disgustingly oily in the t-zone and incredibly dry on my cheeks, leaving me prone to breakouts and sensitivity, but these cleansers leave my skin feeling wonderfully clean and balanced, without any irritation.

Allergic reaction
I bought this after seeing amazing reviews. Used it one night only and it felt gorgeous on my skin. Made it feel so nourished and clean. However the next morning I woke up and the skin around my eyes were red, itchy and swollen. I've not changed anything else in my skin care. After doing some research I found that one of the ingredients-phenoxyethanol - fan be very allergenic! Disappointed as I really wanted to like this but instead I wasted my money and ruined my skin.

Best balm cleanser i know so far
My skin is normal to dehydrated and I normally either use spf daily or make up. So this balm is the best first cleanser to get rid of the make up or sun screen. The balm melts onto your skin as soon as you warm it up with the palm of your hands. Apply it to face and massage it. Wash it off with warm clothe. And continue with your second cleanser of your choice😊

It's very delicate on the skin, but it doesn't remove my waterproof mascara like I'd like it to do. Very messy when you take some from the packaging and if you want to close it - it's all over the lid. Only using it when taking a shower and washing my hair afterwards, can't be bothered to use it otherwise.

This takes off makeup like a dream! It is minimal effort, no irritation but I haven't used long enough to see if it reduces my acne. I am always trialling new products as nothing has worked for my skin. If this helps to reduce my acne it will be my holy grail makeup remover!
