Suitable for normal to dry skin types, CeraVe’s Hydrating Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid is a gentle formula that helps to effectively remove makeup and impurities, without stripping the skin of moisture.
The cleanser is powered by a blend of hyaluronic acid and three essential ceramides to help protect against dryness and nourish the skin barrier function. Lightweight and non-comedogenic, the cleanser helps to leave skin feeling refreshed.

My fav cleanser?
I really like this cleanser so much. It doesn't irritate my eyes. It's fine for a single morning cleanse. For the PM, if you're wearing makeup/sunscreen you may need an additional cleanser before this one. Personally I'd like an oil or balm before using this. This then cleanses off anything left without stripping my skin. It lasts for ages too. Great value fo money from Cerave.

Soft cleanser
This cleanser is lovely and smooth/soft and definitely hydrating! It does the job as I have not experienced break outs or black heads since using it, but I wouldn’t say it’s a deep cleanser. I’ve not tried to take make up off with it as I think it is too gentle for that, but for an AM and PM cleanser on clear skin i like it.

Moisturising but doesn’t remove makeup well enough.
It’s a lovely cleanser, and for my dry skin it’s really nice. However, it does not remove makeup well enough and certainly not mascara. I would say you’d need a cleansing balm before using or another way of cleaning your makeup off. I have sensitive skin and have to admit that sometimes if I use too much of this product it makes my skin feel a bit tight, so I only use once a day at nighttime.
