Best solid bar I’ve found
I’ve tried about 5 different solid shampoos (some a lot more expensive for smaller bars) and this is the best for me. I have dry hair at the ends but it can get greasy on the roots. I bought this shampoo as I have the same brand’s shower gel solid bar which I love so thought I would try their shampoos and I’m not disappointed. It cleans but doesn’t over clean and I find I just rub the bar over my hair 3-4 times and I get a lovely lather. It rinses out easily and thoroughly and it doesn’t leave my hair with that tacky waxy feeling like some do on my hair but it isn’t stripped either. It feels just clean but nourished. I don’t think I would try another bar now as this ticks all the boxes for me.

First try of a shampoo bar.
I wanted to try the solid shampoo bars as like other people I am very concerned about the amount of throw-away plastics we still use. This product lathers well initially but the lather very soon disperses, I don't know if this is what happens with all shampoo bars, but I like to feel my hair has had a good lather up when washing it and that doesn't happen with this product. It does rinse well and my hair felt clean but I didn't notice it was less frizzy on styling. I have only tried it alone with my usual conditioner so far and wonder if using it with a matching conditioner would be best. A personal preference is that I aren't too keen on the fragrance but others may like it. I don't think I would buy this again but will be trying other brands of solid shampoo bar for the reason stated above and also because they are very convenient for travel and hopefully I will find one I really like and that ticks all the boxes for me. They seem to be the way shampoo products are moving forward with more brands bringing them out but sadly this one was not ideal for me personally, I have thick normal to dry hair which tends to be frizzy and goes mad in humidity or damp conditions.
