Better than expected.
When I used this in the shower, I did not think it would soften my dry coarse hair. But once my hair dried (naturally) it was lovely and soft. And the smell is great too.

Great for curly hair
I used this as my regular conditioner until I discovered the Sap Moss range, as recommended by Nuala Morey. They both have wonderful scents, but the Sap Moss one has better slip.

Wonderful for my 3c/4a hair
I have Afro hair and I’ve used Cantu and Sheer Moisture and a few of the other Afro shampoos targeted at Afro hair. Which just dried my hair out. I started using Aveda shampoo and this conditioner and my hair has grown and is so much healthier since I made the switch. I often leave this conditioner for around 10-15mins, and wear a plastic cap under a dryer; to really lock in moisture. Thank you Aveda, this is a great product.

Aveda be curly conditioner
Shampoo is great conditioner on the other hand does not detangle curly/wavy hair even with a detangling comb I had to use another conditioner to comb through. Wouldn’t buy again

Great
Started to look for a new product to suit my fine mid length curls- this is a fabulous conditioner when paired with the shampoo it does exactly what it promises. Quick delivery and well packaged.

Why bother?
The Aveda Be Curly shampoo is gentle enough that you don't need conditioner. But if you do want to use conditioner, don't use this one. I can't feel any difference after rinsing it out. My hair doesn't feel any smoother and it isn't any easier to detangle than when I use the shampoo alone. Also, it makes my hair grease up faster, so if I use this conditioner then I have to wash my hair more frequently.

very disappointing
I was so excited to try this conditioner along with the curly shampoo! Unfortunately I found that the conditioner lathers a lot which made brushing my hair really difficult almost as brushing with a shampoo?! When my hair dried I found that it matted and tangled so much it was nearly impossible to brush it out! Scared to try and use it again.. really unhappy and disappointed I wonder why it has so many good reviews..

I really like this conditioner, It's a big bottle, has lasted a long time (you shouldn't wash curly hair everyday), and I've repurchased it. I use this as a leave in conditioner after I comb thru my curls, I concentrate it on the ends, lightly scrunching in sections, and then use whatever is left on my hands to lightly scrunch into the tops of my hair too. When I use it this way, I usually don't need any other styling aid, sometimes I'll use a small amount of water wax on my hair after it dries, and maybe hairspray if I wear it up.
