Prior to foundation application, use the spoon provided to apply one scoop to the palm of your hand. Using a foundation or highlighter brush, gently brush the product from your hand and apply all over the face until fully absorbed.

Great Performance, Slightly Fiddly Packaging
I recently tried the Illamasqua Beyond Veil Primer after finishing my YSL Touche Éclat primer, which I absolutely loved for its silky texture and luminous finish. While the Illamasqua primer performs well overall, it hasn’t completely won me over - mainly due to its jelly-like texture, which I’m not particularly fond of. It feels a bit odd during application, and the packaging isn’t the most practical either. When I’m in a rush, having to unscrew the lid, remove the inner spoon, and lift off another lid feels a bit faffy. That said, I can’t fault its performance. My makeup stays put flawlessly throughout the day and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all, which is a huge plus. It provides a good base and seems to work well with all my products. I picked it up at a very good price, so I’m not disappointed. If you can grab it on offer, it’s definitely worth trying. Just be aware the texture and packaging may not be to everyone’s taste.

I would say this is one of the best primers I've tried. It's hydrating and gives a nice glow without being too much. A little goes a long way and it feels sticky enough to allow the makeup to cling but without being uncomfortable.
