Kinda disappointed
I’ve used Dove Gradual Tanning Moisturiser for about a year now and absolutely love it so thought I’d give the mousses a go, I do usually use medium-dark but I’m relatively new to tanning so went for fair-medium… also I went for this gift set too as it came with a mit. Applying it felt really nice and easy, I enjoyed doing that as it felt luxurious and it left my skin feeling super soft and it also seemed to blur any texture I might have. I used it on my face as well (not sure if I’m supposed to?!) and it did feel nice there also. I felt tacky and sticky for hours after, there was no smell - good or bad. I’ve woken up now, so this was applied over 12 hours ago, I can see a sort of even glow to my skin? My skin looks healthy, doesn’t feel as soft as last night, ever so slightly sticky still. I wouldn’t call this a tan though, not even really a light tan if I’m honest. I will combine it with the Dove Gradual Tanning Moisturiser and see how it changes then, perhaps I will also try the darker shade too now I know how evenly it applies. Im a bit disappointed because I did expect to see more of a result but good points are … it applied evenly, was very quick and easy for a beginner, left my skin feeling nice, no weird smell and I think it will be easy to add into my usual tanning routine. I won’t buy this shade again. The mit is soft but quite thin.
