Great for a reset wash
5Great for a reset wash day. Gets rid of build up and makes my scalp feel great. Such a gorgeous smell

So good
5I’m not saying this shampoo is to treat any scalp conditions, but I do suffer from eczema on my scalp and the prescription ointment leaves my hair too greasy so I don’t use it. Instead I tried this and yes as with most clarifying shampoos, it does need a strong conditioner after use, but the barely noticeable grains in it really clear my scalp and my scalp is itch and flake free for days until my next wash. Personally I use it between fortnightly and monthly, with my regular curlsmith shampoo on wash days in between and find this works well for me. We live in an area with hard water so this is also a factor to consider.

Great but £££
5Great clarifying shampoo, I was really struggling with hard water and build up from trialing Boucleme. After two washes my hair feels soft and healthy again! Satisfying squeak when washing. Downside is you need to use a fair amount of product so it’s not going to last particularly long. No lingering scent.

Brilliant scrub shampoo
5Lovely shampoo, treated an itchy scalp really well, whilst keeping hair soft and shiny. Smells beautiful

My once a week…
5I really do think this has transformed my curls, my scalp feels fresher also, I only wash my hair twice a week and I wanted something more that would really refresh my mane but be gentle enough not to dry out my curls, I co wash the other time so really this is the best shampoo I’ve used so far after reading reviews and shopping around a bit I’m so glad I decided on this one. It’s now a firm staple in my hair care routine

Not great
1Too drying for not cleansing properly, need to shampoo twice with this to get rid of product build up dandruff making my hair even dryer- even then still doesn’t do a good job. Hard to use for me as it doesn’t foam up that well, I’m not a fan of that. Better clarifying shampoos out there

Great for scalp
5This has been great for curing an itchy and flaky scalp. Makes the hair feel really clean but doesn’t make the scalp feel sore or sensitive after scrubbing. I use it every few washes and will definitely buy again.

4Love all Curlsmith products and this one is a great detox shampoo also. Would recommend trying the conditioner from this line too

Perfect to clean the scalp
5I have tried a couple of products for dry, itchy scalp like the Aveeno, Yes I Am and Shea moisture ones, and none of them did anything for my scalp (I have dry scalp and right after washing my hair it gets both dry and flaky). This is the only shampoo that has solved that issue, it leaves my hair soft and super clean in the shower, and I do not get any flakes afterwards. It is pricy, but it is worth it.
