This was far too sticky and made fresh washed haor very greasy and straw like

You want shine and protection
If your after safe styling along with a shine but most of all protection then this heat protector goes great with your straightners and dryers

Good spray
Lovely heat protector but spray came out in a stream (hence 4 stars) and had to brush it through (used it on dry hair before irons) so may have to switch the top or try it on damp hair instead. Liked the result though, left my hair smooth and shiny but not greasy. Pity the spray top wasn't better but perhaps just a bad one, I've tried another spray from the same brand with no problems.
