Formulated with the curly industry’s favourite ingredient, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, the cream seals cuticles while strengthening the strands. Coconut Oil extract promotes scalp health and protects against breakage, leaving your crown soft and silky. Helping your curls stay perfect for longer, this cream will keep them defined between the dreaded wash days.
Ideal for crafting coils or twists, this curling cream will nourish your curls while keeping them in their place.
Free from parabens, sulphates, silicones, petrolatum and phthalates.
Use after cleansing, conditioning and detangling hair. Apply to small sections of the hair from root to end, smoothing hair in between your fingers. If your hair begins to dry out, re-wet it with CURLESSENCE™ Moisturizing COCO Water. Sit under a warm hooded dryer or air dry. Once hair is thoroughly dry, you can fluff, separate or arrange your coils to your desired style.

Not for me
This has a thick texture for a cream and a very strong coconutty smell that lasted all week! I prefer creams that are not as heavy and create a bit more curling action.

Left hair looking greasy
It smells great and goes on easily but I've tried it twice now and it makes my hair look greasy at the roots and leaves it difficult to manage. Maybe I'm putting too much on?
