- Choose weight: Select an exerciser or exerciser combination that you find comfortable. Don’t be scared - it’s just a workout!
- Insert: Keeping the retraction cord outside the body, insert the exerciser(s) into the vagina with a firm but gentle push, using some water-based lubricant for added comfort. You will be able to feel its weight, but it shouldn’t hurt.
- Placement: The exerciser(s) should be positioned about 2 cm / 1 in. inside the vagina. By that, you’ll know they’re in the right place. The only thing left to do is - squeeze!

I am a 46F with 3 kids. I have been doing kegel exercises for almost a year after I had a couple of minor leaking incidents (quelle horreur!) Since doing the exercises I haven't had any leaks, and I have even stopped the rush to the loo first thing in the morning. Anyway, I was curious as to how effective the kegel exercising was, so I decided to buy this ball as a test. As a couple of other users have said, I can't really feel it at all, just a very slight heaviness if anything. After further research online, this seems to be a good thing and means that I have succeeded in strengthening my pelvic floor! It is easy and comfortable to insert, and remove. I can also do deep squats with the ball in, and even pull down on the string and retain it inside. This has been a very useful purchase.
