Chantecaille Butterfly Eye Quartet 2g

I’m 38 with crepey eyelids, but I still want to use pretty eyeshadows. I’ve been looking for that perfect palette that has natural, taupey colours and a brilliant formula.  First thing - this is extremely expensive. The shadows are smaller than other high end ranges, this was a serious splurge and only because I got an excellent bonus at work. I do love the ethical message from the company but it’s not enough to tempt me to buy anything else from the range.  However - these shadows are simply beautiful. I am a pale white woman with dry skin. I tend to go for a more natural look. These colours feel handpicked for me. They are of a slightly satin finish which I prefer to matte - as I get older I feel matte products just look dusty. They are creamy and blendable and so soft. I’m no expert but these were simple to apply with no fall out. I used all the colours and they just look so pretty, I can’t stop looking! Without the iridescent colour they are pretty but with it amps it up to stunning. I really wish I could add photos because clearly I am not doing this product justice! Unsure how this would look on deeper skin tones so that’s one to be aware of, but for me, this is perfection and I can see me buying over and over again.
