I absolutely love love love this it’s very thick and you only need a small amount as it goes a long way. Love the smell and how smooth my skin feels afterwards. Would defo recommend it

Best cream everrrr

5

I use this as a night cream.for the record my skin is quite oily,I’m 36 and have some fine lines especially when I smile,I know this cream isn’t advertised as anti ageing but I kid you not, since I have been using this at night (around 6 weeks) they have actually disappeared!!!!every night I put it on,I wake up to smooth glowing skin...who doesn’t want that!!!i usually use high end creams and this beats them hands down.ive just ran out of my usually day cream, high end but I am so impressed with this,I have ordered the light version for day time (this cream is far too thick for me to wear during the day) so save myself some pennies!!!

Value for money

Consistency: Thick paste like spreading toothpaste on your face Spreadability: it's so thick that it doesn't spread so easily but it's not to say that it leaves streaks of white marks on your face.. It does blend into your skin. Oiliness: the paste is thick and heavy but not uncomfortably oily on my skin. There is some weight on the skin after application but it's not horrible especially if it's a windy day or if it's a very snowy day. It feels like sunscreen on the face. Does it work: yes apply at night. Wake up fresh.

LOVE LOVE!!!

This is my alltime fav heavy moisturiser. I use it as a night cream from Oct to April (ish). It's crazy thick and I LOVE it on my skin. (You don't wake up oily). A big fan of this product and have bought it multiple times

First impressions - amazing!

5

I have had this for two days and I’m a BIG fan! The consistency is very thick, so I think as a moisturiser I would only use it at night. I put a thick layer under my eyes and I wake up looking so fresh. I have tried it as a highlighter today based on other reviews and I am a huge fan! Have wanted a natural dewy highlighter and this works magic. Super impressed & would be keen to try the light formula for a day moisturiser.

Super moisturiser

4

I bought this mainly because it doesn't contain nasty chemicals and was travel-size. Had heard good things about Weleda and this moisturiser didn't disappoint. It's got quite a heavy texture and goes on your skin a bit thick but is quickly absorbed. Perfect for very dry skin or winter! Wouldn't use this in sunny Singapore.

I have the driest skin on my hands and this is magic. Thick when applying but soaks in fast. Highly recommend.

My hands have never been so soft!

5

I came across Weleda Skin Food on a blog or Pintrist and had to check it out. So glad I did - my hands have never been this smooth and soft. A little of this goes a long way and it feels slightly oily at first but this works in and works magic. I also love the smell which some may not. It has that scent which I associate with walking into an Aveda salon - a melange of citrus and herbs. Really wonderful product!

Hand cream comparison test

5

I purchased a number of hand creams in light of a recent discovery that an ingredient in many products called dimethicone and similar is a polymer silicone which although creates a feeling of silky smoothness is actually drying your skin and creating a viscous cycle. I purchased Skin Food and Pomegranate hand cream by Weleda, Zkin soothing hand cream, Ruby Red restoring moisturiser, Oskia renaissance hand cream and Caudalie hand and nail cream. Both Weleda products are excellent. great aroma and feel. a little goes a long way. the skin food is suitable for many applications however can be quite thick (very lanoliny, 2nd ingredient). Caudalie is very very good and i will be buying this again. great ingredients, aroma and feel. Zkin is a great Australian product and is in a pump action so you never over squeeze and use too much. great smell, feel and ingredients, and ticks many ethical boxes. Ruby Red i am not too sure about yet, but still ticks alot of boxes and does feel good. the product i won't be getting again and would prefer to regift than to use is the Oskia cream. Scent is very old lady smell (sorry if i offend anyone but way too strong and too much rose). Too many ingredients and it was the most expensive also. I hope this helps also. BTW avoid octabenzone and octinoxate in lip balms - it is a polymer used as a UV filter but has been found to be absorbed into the body (blood, urine and breast milk) and is petroleum derived and makes your lips dryer the more you use. Another con. All the best.
