Beautiful oil but...
I've been using this oil for 2 months now. I have to agree with other reviewers, the smell of Lavender does not last as long as it should, given the price of the product it should linger. This is a lovely body oil and if you have dry skin will help to hold in moisture after a shower or a bath. Would I purchase this again? Sadly no. Though a beautiful oil the key smell of Lavender is missing, which is what I purchased it for.

Love all things Weleda (okay, maybe not their Iris range) and this lavender oil doesn't disappoint! Fragrance is intense yet comforting, and oil texture is easily spread and absorbed by the skin, elevating your senses to a state of relaxation readily. Really good as a nightly ritual (day too, if you don't mind being too relaxed for work!).

This body oil was quite disappointing. Not to sound ungrateful but it has a very minimal, slight lavender scent that can only be smelled on your skin for about two minutes and that’s it. It just evaporates afterwards. It’s a great moisturising oil for the body which is great but Weleda’s choice of titling it a Lavender oil when it’s only a diluted Lavender one… frankly misleading. If you take a look at the ingredients you’ll notice that the first one is not Lavender but a food oil… you get it. Would not buy again.

This oil is just fabulous! The smell is beautiful and it glides onto your skin. It soaks in pretty quickly and isn’t too oily. I love putting it on just before bed and I really think it helps me get to sleep!
