Not Sure
I have used these as instructed but the difference is minimal on my eyelashes. Perhaps my eyelashes aren't very bendy!

Fantastic eyelash curler
Bought for my daughter for Xmas and she is so pleased with the eyelash curlers.She has used many of these over the years but will now be sticking with Tweezerman.
