Love this
5I found this to be great at stopping spots in their tracks, it dries them out and stops the redness. I also use it on my nose to shrink pores and help to get rid of blackheads.

Holy grail product for me
5I've been using Niacinamide + Zinc from The Ordinary for a few months now and while it helps with controlling sebum it doesn't really help with acne. Decided to try this out as a spot treatment and it really helps dry pimples out! And best part is that it helps exfoliate my skin too which makes my skin super smooth and glowy. Will definitely repurchase this when I run out.

The ordinary
5I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks now along side with the ordinary Niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% and ALPHAH clear skin daily hydrate with eucalyptus and can honestly say these products have done wonders for my skin I have super oily skin and using these has definitely helped I barley have any oil anymore, I also have acne and acne scarring, I’ve had acne for years and it cleared up as I got older but then I started taking the contraceptive pill and it made my shoulders, back and face break out worse than when it was just teenage spots I use these products for this aswell and it is a massive help it’s cleared my shoulders and back up and face and and helps prevent future spots I still get them but not half as bad, remember nothing works instantly but after 3 weeks I’ve noticed a massive difference I feel a lot more confident with my skin!

burn allert!
3I have been using this to calm down some pimples and congested areas of my face. Overall I haven't seen a major difference. This is not really a complaint about this product but more of a warning...I have chemical burns on two areas of my forehead, where I had pimples and was hoping that this product would reduce it's appearance. be careful ladies and gents :)

My savior
5It actually does help to my reduce my acne noticeably. It may cause burn for really sensitive skin . I have a normal skin it doesn’t burn my skin at all . Love this

Burnt and scars
1I was so excited about trying this product after reading many positive reviews. I did a patch test as I always do, all ok after doing one 3 times. I washed my face (water only) put one “dot” (thin layer) on a spot on my chin and a few other places on my face. I went to bed, and woke up with burns on my face! I had to go to the Drs as they were so painful. I ended up with blisters and scans all over my face. I now have 2 nasty scars on my chin and cheek! Absolutely distressed with the results. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Worst part is I only had 3 spots!

Chemical burn! Please be careful!
1I suffer from acne on my chin and have been looking for a product that will help. I recently came across products that use salicylic acid as a component, and I have had good results. When I came across The Ordinary’s range and read plenty of positive reviews regarding their salicylic acid solution.. I thought I’d give it a go. I did a patch test to be cautious as I didn’t want anything like this to happen, which went perfectly fine. The following evening I used a small amount of it on my chin and woke up the next morning horrified with the results! I had painful blisters all over my chin, it was swollen and very painful to touch. Not only am I upset about my acne, I now have painful blistering and burns over my chin which has made me unable to leave the house without feeling self conscious. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a product, but I feel as if I needed to share my experience to raise awareness about this acid and how it can affect certain skin types.
