Lumene Nordic Hydra [Lähde] Hydration Recovery Aerating Gel Mask 150ml

I didn’t know what to make of this when I opened it up, but I use this on top of my nightly skincare routine as a layer of moisturiser that I leave on a couple of times a week. I have sensitive problematic skin. It feels beautiful and cooling on the skin. Absorbs well and calms any irritations overnight. Love it!

I received a 15ml sample jar of this mask and I am very pleased that I didn't pay for it as I am very disappointed in the results! The instructions say to apply a generous amount to clean skin and leave for 15 minutes then wipe excess away. The formula of the mask is a thick and cooling gel which I imagine for some people would be really nice to use, especially in summertime. I do have dry skin and I expected this mask to hydrate. However, upon application the mask immediately sank straight into my skin. It wouldn't be possible to wipe any excess away even after the seconds or so! Unfortunately, it made the skin around my eyes very sorry and left it stinging very painfully. As I have said, I do have dry skin so perhaps this mask is better suited to a different skin type. However, if you do have dry skin, I really wouldn't recommend using it.

My skin around mouth is sting and burn. So I wash off after applying it for 5 mins only (I have sensitive skin). For other area, my skin become hydrated and soft! Just like after I do facial :). The hydrating power seems to be stronger than using paper mask. Worth the price!

It is a fun mask to use and the texture is to die for, but i think this suits oily skin types more. It was hydrating but my skin still felt a little bit tight after i washed the mask off. Although my skin looked more even and less red. I think this could be a perfect summertime cooling gel mask but it's just not for winter or for people with dry/combo skin.

I’ve tried out so many different face masks and this is without a doubt the best one I’ve ever used. Wonderful gel consistency and works wonders on my oily/dehydrated skin. Leaves my skin feeling so fresh, plumped and hydrated with a matte finish. Calms the redness in my Tzone as well, highly recommend!

This is the ONLY gel mask which burns my skin I have ever used! 2 mins after apply, I felt my face was burning and I had to wash it off. It happened to my friend as well. Very disappointed!
