Lumene [Balance] Harmonia Nutri-Recharging Purifying Peat Mask 75ml

I'm not the biggest fan of clay masks, as I find them to be too drying. I can leave this mask on for an hour (and I often do), and my skin just feels nice and soft after I wash it off. I also find that it calms my skin.. at first when I apply, I do feel a little stinging, but it fades quickly, and calms my redness a bit. I only gave it a 4 star review, because I can't really comment it's purifying ability - I haven't noticed that really. However, this is a great mask, and I do find it very pleasant to use. It's my wellness day mask. I even like the scent of it (herbal and pleasant, and feels natural, although I have no idea if it really is), and I'm quite sensitive to scented products, very picky and I hate sythetic scents. And can I comment on the product packaging - it looks divine. Not that it really matters, but it does add something to the whole user experience.

OK so the first time I used this mask I was not that impressed. I sort of didnt like the texture nor the colour. I felt like it did nothing and on aesthetics I was underwhelmed. Then I tried some other masks and came rushing back to this one. Why? The properties of peat are amazing, healing and anti bacterial. For me, this was a product that nourished and didnt dry out my skin. Having tried clay masks I was horrified at how drying they were - something I perhaps foolishly didnt expect. My skin is normal - combination and can also be dehydrated so clay is NOT appropriate. Mud works wonders too but good mud masks tend to be very pricey. I am still testing this mask out but i would recommend it to anyone blemish prone, with sensitive skin and who is looking to reduce redness and inflammation caused by hormonal and mild breakouts.

Left my skin glowing & so soft to touch afterwards! Using one a week alongside other lumene products & my skin is the best it's ever been!
